Q: Activity! Who do you want to be? If you could choose any character from a book. What do you think that character looks like and what do you have in common?
I would have to say Bella Swan from Twilight, (yes I'm a Twilight fanatic, and proud of it)!
We have a couple of things in common we both like to read and we both think that Edward Cullen is gorgeous!
Oh but I would make sure to smile just a little bit more than she does, I don't know what she needs to be so grumpy looking for!
Beautiful, wild-child Nicole Tepper is hit by a car and left for dead. But when she wakes the next morning, Nicole finds herself in bed without a scratch. Perhaps she was more intoxicated than usual, as her mother is giving her the silent treatment and her friends are ignoring her as well.
Things take a turn for the weird when Nicole soon discovers she is actually hovering between life and death. Her body is lying in the forest while her spirit is searching for anyone who can hear her. Unfortunately the only person who can is Dale Finnigan, the guy she publicly humiliated with a sharp-tongued insult that has left him branded.
Desperate, Nicole has no choice but to haunt Dale and convince the freaked-out senior to help her. Will he find her body before it's too late? Or will the guy who tried to kill her with his car, beat him there and finish her off before anyone finds out?
Excerpt 3:
"O.M.G. you guys, check this out." Penny grabs Amber's arm. "I just got a text from Milly."
Everyone gives her a blank stare.
"You know, the slightly chubby one who works in the office sometimes." Penny frowns. "I don't know how she managed to get out of class to score such a cruisy gig, but anyways."
I move behind my friends in order to avoid an onslaught of human traffic as we weave through the narrow corridor and out into the quad.
"Listen to this..." Penny holds the phone closer to her face. "Just heard convo. Nicole not at school. Mom thinks she's AWOL."
The girls gasp and my chest tightens with hope.
Okay girls, start piecing it together. I hold my breath.

A Thriller from Bestselling Author Kailin Gow What if you found out you never existed?"My name is Celestra Caine. I am seventeen years old, which makes me a senior at Richmond High. I never thought this would happen to me, but it has... I'm one of those people you see every day, go to school with, remember seeing at the supermarket or the mall, and then one day you don't hear about them any longer. They're gone, and eventually, you forget them."
My Thoughts...
There seems to be nothing that Kailin writes that I don't like, her writing is superb and she draws me in with each and every new book or series that I read.
This one was no exception, I was highly invested in the characters, and was often left on tenterhooks waiting to find out what was going to happen next.
This would be my second favourite series after the Loving Summer series out of the four that I've read, the concept of the storyline is so original and fresh that I was absorbed from the get-go.
Celestra is seventeen, she arrives home one day to find her parents and brother missing, then she gets a phone call to say that her parents have been faded (their memories wiped of any and all recollection of her) and that she is to be next.
When she comes too she finds herself in an unknown place with a man named Jack, hot, British, and around her age, he tells her she is being hunted by The Others a bunch of guys that are out to kill her, because she is important, The Underground (whose side Jack is on) is out to protect her, but when Celeste discovers why she's so wanted it will change her life forever.
There's nothing I didn't like about this book, however if you're not a fan of cliffhanger endings make sure that you have the second book Falling on hand to read straight away, trust me when you read it you'll know exactly what I mean.
What is Celestra Caine? Who is she and did she ever existed? The Faders and the Others clash at the Underground, sending everything into a tailspin. Celestra is pulled into more intrigue, more danger, and more romance, as she discovers who she is and why everyone wants to get her in Book 2 of the FADE series
My Thoughts...
After the heart-stopper that was the cliffhanger ending in the first book Fade we are taken straight in the action, at the exact same spot the previous book left us at. There is so much action in this book, it is sure to keep you entertained, after the attack on the Underground, Celestra has been moved to a safe location, but with the disappearance and suspected death of Jack she is devastated, but she still has Grayson and while she's torn between the two of them she knows she has to keep a hold of her grief at least until they have rescued the head of The Underground Sebastian, whom was taken hostage by The Others. So when they plan to launch a surprise attack on The Others at their headquarters , Celestra gives everyone a look at what she is capable of, and not everyone in The Underground are happy with the power she posesses, and may take it into their own hands to dispose of her themselves. But what exactly is she? And more to the point will she find out the identities of the people working with her who want her dead? Another fantastic addition to this series, I highly recommend everyone pick this series up. I give this 5/5.
