A Weekly Meme Hosted By Parajunkee And Alison Can Read.
Q: When you’ve read a book, what do you do with it? (Keep it, give it away, donate it, sell it, swap it..?)
I don't like to give away my books when I've finished them unless I have a double, which because of that doesn't leave me with much room around the house.
I'm the same page as you, I don't like giving away my books either! I sometimes buy doubles though because I'm super picky about the conditions of my book.
ReplyDeleteAgree! only doubles are for lending/giving away (:
ReplyDeletethanks for coming by my blog! (:
new follower.
I'm glad I'm an e-reader when it comes to spatial reasons, but I do miss the pretty hardcovers. What hardcovers I do have, I don't like to give away either.
ReplyDeleteNew follower here. Here's my FF
I have no room! I wish I could keep all of mine. I am hoping to get more shelving, but don't really even have room for that. Ek. LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't think that there is a book blogger around with enough shelf room. We can always use more. Old GFC follower. Thanks for stopping by my FF and for the follow.
ReplyDeleteHey there!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm now following you. If I had the shelf space I would so keep all of my books.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
If only I had more bookcases, I wouldn't be giving away any of my books. But sadly, that isn't the case and I tend to like space to maneuver around my room without fearing that I'll step on any of my precious books. So, all the books I deem bad reads, I give away or donate.
Have a great weekend!

I wish I could keep all my books, but alas, no room! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteI think running out of room comes with the Territory of choosing to be a reader. I actually like when books expand off my shelf and start stacking in corners or on tables. It's vanity thing, I know, because I think it makes me look like I read a lot. I lend them were I can, but I hate parting with all but the worst of books. Sometimes I have to make the sacrifice though.
ReplyDeleteI do not like to part with my books either.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
It's definitely hard to part with books, but I really like lending them out (although alot of them never make it back :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my FF! Have a great weekend!
I can totally relate. We've got books in every room of the house. It's an addiction, I know, but one that can't be helped. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am the same way. It's my book, all mine. I no likey to share me bookies.... lol =D

As much as I don't like to give away my books, space is the problem. I could hardly walk around my room right now! :-)

Thanks so much for stopping by. I always keep my books, even if they leave me no room to move around the house. I just can't live without them. :)

When I still lived at home, I had no room for my books. Now that I moved, I have these huge book cases. So now every book has their own special place!
