Q: Summer Reading. What was your favorite book that you were REQUIRED to read when you were in school?
Sadly enough I honestly can't remember any books I was required to read at school, so the only thing I'm taking away from that is, obviously I didn't like any and they left no impression whatsoever!
LOL I like your answer, I almost had trouble remembering its been forever since I been in school.

I'm in total agreement, it's scary to think of how long it's been!
DeleteI struggled with this question it was so long ago (I sound old!)

Have a nice weekend :)
Don't worry I had to think back and couldn't believe how long it's been since I was at school. :)
Delete:DD Sweet answer! I was gonna say the same thing, but then I remembered that I have actually read great books for school. Check them out @ my Follow Friday post.
ReplyDeleteI remember books that I didn't read for school, not that it helps with today's question! Lol
DeleteI love this answer - very honest! I admit, school has a way of sucking the enjoyment out of any books they make you read by way of over-analysis!
ReplyDeleteMy FF this week
I may have enjoyed a few of them if it wasn't for analysing them all.
DeleteI only remember one, but it has stuck with me.

I'm happy some people found books they loved, unfortunately I can't say the same! :)
DeleteYeah it was tough! As an English major I had to read a LOT. And I remember pretty much not enjoying any book! Although back in high school senior year we read the Count of Monte Cristo and I absolutely LOVED it! It was so weird, since I was already deep into paranormal books then! Even though they were incredibly hard to find! Yet CMC was just awesome! I even bought my own copy to re-read over the summer that year!

I haven't read Count Of Monte Cristo but a few people seem to like it, I might have to read it some day!
Delete:) Your answer made me smile but it does make me sad you didn't care for any of them!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend! The Brunette Librarian Blog
I don't really remember reading any classics at all besides Romeo And Juliet and the writing in that made it hard for me to get through.
Deletehaha! Not many of the books I read in high school had an impression on me either!! lol New follower :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a pity, because quite a lot of other people have books they loved after reading them in high school.
